Pop a Plug Removal

Mechanical fit plugs are safe, effective, and reliable solution for heat exchanger tube/ Tube sheet leaks. Plugs are resistant to thermal cycling and able to provide a seal that’s helium tight. ALMUZAIN have specialized & certified technicians with the appropriate training and equipment to ensure the safety and integrity of the heat exchanger system.

It's important to note that installation and removal of mechanical fit plugs should only be performed by certified technicians with the appropriate training and equipment to ensure the safety and integrity of the heat exchanger system and to install/Remove low pressure (68.9 BarG) & high-pressure plugs (483BarG).

Removal:

• The heat exchanger must be properly isolated and depressurized before any plugs can be removed.
• A specialized tool is used to loosen and remove the plug from the tube.
• The tube is inspected to ensure there is no damage and is ready for either replacement or re-plugging if necessary.
